Robin Klein

Robin Klein

Houston Board Certified

Robin received her B.A. in communication from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. In 2005, she earned her J.D. from Houston’s South Texas College of Law. Robin was board certified in family law in 2015.

Robin has had a stellar track record since joining KoonsFuller in 2013. In 2016, she was named a “Rising Star” by and featured in Texas Super Lawyers magazine. “I love being a part of KoonsFuller,” says Robin. “With some of the most talented and respected attorneys in the Southwest, we have a storehouse of knowledge and advice that is a one-of-a-kind resource.”

Robin continues, “My own life experience informs the work I do for my clients. I have been divorced. I am a mother. My mother was a single parent for most of my childhood. I’ve experienced what people facing divorce go through. Clients are often in a highly emotional state when we meet. My life lessons help me anticipate the countless issues people may not be able to see. What’s important to clients today will probably change over time. Life after divorce is a journey, not a death sentence.”

Although Robin is a master of every aspect of family law, she particularly enjoys crafting pre- and post-marital agreements. “I’ve always believed in the power of clear communication. It’s been my experience that if people are open and honest when they’re putting anything together, it’ll probably last longer. And if the time ever comes, it’s much easier to take apart,” says Robin. “But most of all, I’ve learned to put children first. It’s imperative to protect children involved in divorce from any conflict or rancor.”
