Dallas-based family law firm KoonsFuller PC has added a new partner and expanded its offices in Houston to accommodate the firm’s recent growth in the area.
John “Bo” Nichols and one associate have joined the Houston office. Previously, Nichols ran his own practice, according to his website.
In addition, KoonsFuller has tacked on additional space at its office in The Redstone Building on Post Oak Lane in Uptown. It’s expanded to more than 7,700 square feet, up from 5,343 square feet. The office now accommodates eight full-time lawyers, according to Ike Vanden Eykel, CEO of KoonsFuller.
“Our game plan in Houston is that we hope we can absorb Bo and the associate into the operations of the firm and really get our feet on solid ground with the new space and technology and go into 2017 with greater growth on the horizon,” Vanden Eykel said.
KoonsFuller opened its Houston office in January 2013 and named Sherri Evans its local managing partner.
Also opening in The Redstone Building is Dallas-based Allegiance Title Co., a title insurance services firm that took over more than 6,000 square feet in March.
