KoonsFuller COVID-19 Update

KoonsFuller was built over 40 years ago around the concept of client service.  At this crucial time in our history, our clients need our assistance more than ever to navigate in the world of COVID-19. Our firm is dedicated to the health, safety, and well-being of our clients and employees.

The firm is following the recommendations of the State of Texas as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help manage the spread of the virus. At the same time, we are fully committed and prepared to help our clients succeed in their parenting efforts and protect their financial interests in a time of financial volatility.

We are, and we will continue to, provide seamless services to both new and existing clients while ensuring the well-being of your and our families.

Is my lawyer continuing to work on my case?

Yes, KoonsFuller is open and continues to work diligently on your legal matters as we do every day.  With the technology we have in place, all of our lawyers and paralegals are equipped to work securely from home. You can email, call, or videoconference with our firm, and at the discretion of each individual attorney, an in-person meeting may be facilitated.

How are the courts being affected?

With few exceptions, Texas courts are rescheduling most non-emergency hearings at this time. Your attorney will continue to update you regarding your case and, if applicable, hearing. Our attorneys will continue to make in-person court appearances as required. All court filings in Texas are done electronically so there will be no interruption to our court access, subject only to scheduling by individual courts.

We are also maintaining and regularly updating a list of all Dallas/Fort Worth area counties’ Emergency Orders related to COVID-19.

Are consultations available for new clients?

To our colleagues and friends who refer their friends and loved ones, we are continuing to schedule consultations and advocate for our clients.

Thank you,

KoonsFuller, P.C. Family Law
