Overview
Brad M. LaMorgese is a Board Certified family law attorney with nearly three decades of experience representing individuals and families in complex divorce, child custody, property division, enforcement, modification, and appellate matters. Known for his strategic advocacy and meticulous preparation, Brad has successfully handled both trial and appellate cases throughout Texas.
Brad earned his Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University before graduating cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he received the Fort Worth Real Estate Law Council Award for earning the highest grade in Property. He is licensed to practice in Texas and before the United States Supreme Court, multiple United States Courts of Appeals, and numerous federal district courts.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Brad has earned statewide and national recognition for his work. He has been named among Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers, and D Magazine's Best Lawyers in Dallas for multiple consecutive years, reflecting his reputation for excellence among clients and peers alike.
In addition to his litigation practice, Brad is an accomplished appellate advocate, author, and frequent speaker on family law issues. He has contributed to numerous legal publications and continuing legal education programs, and his work has been cited by the Texas Supreme Court. His extensive appellate experience allows him to provide clients with skilled representation at every stage of the legal process.
Outside the courtroom, Brad has served the Irving community through multiple terms on the Irving City Council, including as Mayor Pro Tem and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem. His longstanding commitment to public service reflects the same dedication and integrity he brings to his legal practice.
