Overview
Chloe Sell is an associate attorney in KoonsFuller's Denton office, where she is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate challenging family law matters with compassion, diligence, and thoughtful advocacy. She is committed to providing clients with practical guidance and personalized representation during some of life's most significant transitions.
Chloe earned her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she demonstrated a strong commitment to family law and public service. While in law school, she served as Treasurer of the Family Law Association and was actively involved in the Association for Public Interest Law, the Labor and Employment Law Association, Women in Law, If/When/How, the American Constitution Society, and the Dallas Bar Association. She also competed in mock trial and was a semifinalist in the prestigious TEX-ABOTA Best in Texas Voir Dire Competition.
During law school, Chloe gained valuable litigation and research experience through internships with the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of the Solicitor and the Honorable Mark X. Mullin of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. In these roles, she conducted legal research, assisted with drafting and editing court filings, observed courtroom proceedings, participated in legal strategy discussions, and supported attorneys in preparing matters for litigation. These experiences strengthened her analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
Chloe's commitment to serving others extends beyond the classroom and courtroom. She volunteered with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, assisting prospective clients through intake interviews and application reviews, and with the Dallas Kids Project, where she helped educate elementary students about the legal system through mock trial programs.
Before attending law school, Chloe graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and studied abroad at the University of Carlos III in Madrid, Spain. Her academic achievements reflect a lifelong dedication to learning and broadening her perspective.
