Overview
Daniel Abasolo is a Texas family law attorney with more than a decade of experience representing clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, CPS cases, and adoptions. Licensed in Texas since 2010, Mr. Abasolo has practiced extensively in Denton County throughout his career, giving him in-depth knowledge of the local courts, judges, and procedures.
A significant portion of Mr. Abasolo’s practice is devoted to mediation. Credentialed as a mediator since 2012, he is known for crafting creative, practical solutions tailored to the unique needs of each family. While he approaches every case with compassion and understanding, he is also a diligent and zealous advocate who is fully prepared to litigate when necessary to protect his clients’ rights and interests.
In addition to family law, Mr. Abasolo has professional training and experience in business law and estate planning. This background allows him to effectively address complex financial issues that frequently arise in divorce and property division cases. He also serves as a court-appointed attorney ad litem in CPS and adoption cases, where he advocates for the best interests of children during some of the most challenging moments in their lives.
Mr. Abasolo was born in Gainesville, Florida, and raised in Miles City, Montana. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. He and his spouse, Lara, have two sons, Franklin and Theodore. Outside of his practice, Mr. Abasolo enjoys spending time with his family, serving his community, and staying active through running, cycling, and swimming.
