Overview

Katelyn Kaske was raised in McKinney, Texas. She graduated with a degree in Criminology from Richardson’s own University of Texas at Dallas and went on to earn her J.D. from UNT Dallas College of Law, located in the heart of downtown Dallas. During law school, Katelyn was on the executive board of The American Constitution Society and Women in Law Student Association. Additionally, she oversaw an organization, Enhancing Child Education and Success, which aimed to empower young adults aging out of Foster Care and entering college for the first time. Moreover, Katelyn received a Community Engagement Honor at graduation for being in the top 10% of students who volunteered the most community service hours during her time in law school. Currently, Katelyn is a Board Member of Friends Investing in Foster Kids, a nonprofit organization with a goal to support foster children in Dallas County.

Before becoming a lawyer, Katelyn worked as a Child Protective Services Investigator in Collin County for over six years working tirelessly to prevent child abuse and neglect and ensure the safety of children in the community. Katelyn has a passion for helping children and families.

Katelyn is a mother to her teenage son. When she is not reporting for mom duties or to court, you can catch her playing co-ed soccer on one of her two teams or snuggling with her two english bulldogs!
