Overview

Robert “Rob” McEwan is an experienced family law litigator and mediator with cases all over Texas and in select states outside Texas. He is most often engaged in high conflict and high value cases. His primary office location is in Tarrant County, but he maintains many cases in Dallas County, Collin County and Denton County. Often, he is hired by fellow litigators to resolve their most difficult cases in mediation, both in-person and by video conference. He prides himself on resolving most cases by agreement, but he is highly trained in advanced courtroom strategy and techniques.

Rob is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas, and the Federal Courts of the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, Collin County Bar Association, Dallas County Bar Association, Collaborative Institute of Texas and the State Bar College. He has been regularly involved in editing several State Bar manuals published throughout Texas.

Rob has been certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2013. He has been credentialed as a civil and family mediator since 2006.

In his spare time, Rob enjoys competitive golf, local DFW sports and coaching his children’s sports. Rob and his family are avid travelers, spending much of their time exploring the country.
